What We Offer
2025 Application Guidelines:
This year, MARC is offering three residencies: a 2-week spring residency from Saturday, May 31 through Saturday, June 14, 2025 and a 2-week Spring residency from Saturday, June 1 through Saturday, June 28, 2028. There is a Ten-day summer residency from Tuesday, July 1 through Thursday, July 10, 2025 designated for Maine art teachers (K-12).
Both 2-week residencies will be located at the Miller Cottage. The building offers both studio and living space. There is a stipend of $350 per week to support living expenses while you are on the island.
The 10-Day residency will be located in the Studio building on the Trailing Yew campus. Facilities for the K-12 Teacher Residency involve shared bathroom and bathing facilities outside of the studio/living space (approximately 20 steps away). Breakfast and dinner will be provided by the Trailing Yew. While there is access to refrigeration on the hotel campus, there are no additional cooking facilities. For this residency, there is a stipend of $150 to support living expenses while you are on the island.
